It was handpieced while watching "The Reader" for the third time.

DH went away for two days,

so there is no foodball on my TV tonight HURRAY

To long  between this one and my last.

And my excuse is: 

I was  visiting my family in Iceland,

and had a wonderful time. 

Patriot's Lantern

C-10 Patriot's Lantern. 37 pieces.

If I had paid an attention to the name of this block, Patriot's Lantern  I would have put some more yellow into it.

Next time I better look first at the name, then my block chart and number before I choose the colour.

Soldiers and Sailors Monument

C-11 Soldiers and Sailors Monument. 16 pieces.

This one I appliqué and hand pieced. Did not take long.

Family Reunion

C-12 Family Reunion, 49 pieces.

Family Reunion was handpieced in the beginning

and then,  when it was big enough  the Bernina took over.

A small mistake, it is pink as C-13 but a little darker.

Well so what!!!!

Lakota Sioux

C-13. Lakota Sioux. 25 pieces.

At last I managed to do one more block, it is hand pieced except for the big triangles,

they went through the Bernina.

I have been busy doing Flower Garden.

Rayelle's Fence

C-3 Rayelle's Fence. 25 pieces.

At last I have over 1000 pieces :-)

Hani's Crown

C-8 Hani's Crown - 21 piece

While piecing Hani's Crown I watched Julie &Julia 

the story of Julie Child, played by Meryl Streep.

I just love Meryl Streep and collect all her movies,

she is amazing actress.

I know that every time I look at this block I will think of this movie.
