Now my DJ top is ready for quilting,
as you see I took out 16 blocks from the middle,
added some tulips in a vase
and switched the blocks.
From the 16 blocks I didn't use I will make a mini quilt.

Have a wonderful week,
and happy quilting.

Four corners

I was going to have the corners plain with background fabric.
But what do you know, I did the four corners this week.
Not so hard to do, except for the green one BCL.
66 pieces in this one corner.

Now my top is almost ready.

Will post a picture soon hopefully.

Brigadoon

In my last post was a triangle named Brigadoon, and I
did not know what that was.
But  Pip looked it up. Thank you Pip.

It is a Scottish village and also a title of a musical film about
the magical Scottish village.
I found some interesting trailers of this film, just for fun,
has nothing to do with Dear Jane.
It is since 1954, not so old.

Enjoy

Two more

Brigadoon (What is the meaning  of this word?)
TR8, Reverse appliqué, only two pieces.
It looks like a mask.

Watermelon, LS13, foundation pieced and hand appliqué,
22 pieces.
I see a clown face in this one.

Until next time
Happy stitching.
