The Icelandic "sjónabók" is a collection of traditional patterns for textiles.
Over 750 pages of beautiful patterns,
which are held in the collection of the National Museum of Iceland.

I could see three more of F13 joined to make a larger square and then perhaps embroidery around it to embellish.
