Buffalo Tree Hopper

E-4 - Handpieced - 11 pieces.
I made some tiny changes, - the two green corners are made of two pieces in the book.
I think the original was one piece.

And here is a beautiful picture from Rébecca Dautremer a French Illustrator, she was born 1971 in Gap in South of France. She now lives in Paris.

Alison's Guiding Light

D-1. Paper pieced into units then hand pieced. 23 pieces

Battlefield

D-10, Paper pieced into units then hand pieced.
42 pieces.

At last - some time spent with my DJ.
It is nice to have your family over for a visit, especially when you are living abroad.
But I did miss my sewing, and now I miss my family.

So it is a kind of Battlefield with my emotion.

Crystal Star

Crystal Star - D-4 was paperpieced, handpieced and appliqué.
17 pieces.
It seems to work best for me to paperpiece into units and then handpiece the units together.
It has really been very hot here in Lux for the past weeks,
But this morning it was a bit coolish.

Happy stitching
